Vsett scooters came along and took the electric scooter industry by storm with some truly innovative decisions. Vsett Website. For example the fact that GoTrax has had a difficult time equipping their scooters with suspensions, the most basic of Vsett scooters rocks two spring suspension systems.

VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than the VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett Website. It has a larger deck and also has the upgraded clamp which is comparable to the ones you see on the Rion scooters.

When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I really prefer the clamps for the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it just had a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two extra safety features.

It comes in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she is a sucker for all things teal. It also locks in it when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.

VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It comes in the exact color as the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed with the 10+, however the 9+ surprised me the most.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter which is why I didn’t think much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride the 9+, I was completely blown away by how fast and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.

I normally gravitate towards the high powered scooters however I could easily see my self using the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop the 9+ and you’re able to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.

VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett Website

VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is the entry-level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles of real usage range. It features an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.

The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two batteries variants of this 8 first. The two models will have the 15.6 amp hour version that uses Chinese batteries. The other will comprise the one with 21 amps with LG batteries. Vsett Website.

With the electric brake, rear drum brake and the solid rear tire, it can aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It comes with the front and rear swing arm suspension that can be a significant improvement over the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8

VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It was specifically designed to climb higher hills, have a higher speeds, and does not have flats like that of the VSETT 8.

VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is believed to be a step above that of the ZERO 10X. There are some who refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Website.

The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to the one on the RION scooters.

There is the sport mode button, which is only active for two minutes and then take breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, but I believe it’s a good option to protect the controller from damage by overheating.

I love it that VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together also doubles up as a hook for a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.

It has a IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter is equipped with water-resistant ratings however, none of the distributors warrant water damage. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X deck, which means it is expected to be very big.

I was able to see a lot of images and videos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype I realized that they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d come with the EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.

The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size so that it is easy to buy and install a new.

Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately think of Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure at the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I love the look. I imagine getting dressed up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.

Okay, enough about costumes, you probably are here for the specifications. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it came from a motorbike.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is a 60V battery. I’d like to have created this with a 72V battery but I bet they will release a 72V version in the near future. It has two stems which can be very helpful for stability.

The 11+ has 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It has a sport mode like the 10+ that is only for 2 minutes , then it shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.

I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are seeing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, however I’d love to see it on future versions. Vsett Website.
