VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett Homepage

The VSETT 9 is their slightly bigger single motor scooter than VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett Homepage. It is larger than the deck, and it also comes with an new clamp, which is similar to the ones you see with those Rion scooters.

When I first saw the clamp on the VSETT 9 and Rion personally, I actually preferred the clamp on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as robust as the Rion however it came with two additional security features.

It comes in a teal and black shade that I’m certain my wife would love because she is a sucker for all things teal. It also locks in its own when folded. The hook that holds it in place after folding, doubles up to become a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.

VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it comes with dual motors instead of one motor. It comes in the exact shade of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed with the 10+, however the 9+ surprised me the most.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter which is why I didn’t think much of it when looking at the specs sheet. However, once I had the chance to test ride the 9+ I was blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I was thinking that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind but it turned out to be able to keep up.

I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters however I could easily see myself having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me , but to some it would weigh in at 62lbs.) I was able to bunny hop the 9+, and it’s possible to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.

VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett Homepage

The VSETT 8 is the entry-level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph in a single motor and get about 25 miles real-world usage. It features an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.

The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two battery variants of this 8 initially. Two models will have that of 15.6 amp-hour version that uses Chinese batteries. The other version will be the 21 amp hour version that uses LG batteries. Vsett Homepage.

With the electric braking with rear drum brake as well as solid rear tire, it will assist in keeping maintenance low. It comes with the front and rear swing arm suspension, which could be an improvement to the smaller spring suspension found included in the ZERO 8

VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s built to go up higher slopes, have a higher top speed, and will never have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.

VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett Homepage

The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step up from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Homepage.

The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that measure three inches in width. It has a sturdy clamp that looks similar to that of the RION scooters.

It does come with the sport mode button, which will only be activated for 2 minutes before taking an interval of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, but I find it to be a good option to protect the controller from damage from overheating.

I am awestruck by the fact I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding, because the ZERO 10X does not making it hard for portability. The hook used to keep the scooter together also doubles into a hook to hang the bag you carry or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.

It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance, no distributor will guarantee water damage. The 10+ deck is larger than the 10X deck, which means it is expected to be very big.

I saw a ton of videos and photos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I realized that they didn’t come with any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would come with EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they are more comfortable.

The good news is that the shocks come in a traditional size which makes it easy to find and install a replacement.

Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+ in my view, I instantly think of Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, however I love the look. I can imagine dressing up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.

So, enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that looks as if it came off of motorcyle.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still a 60V battery. I do wish they would have made this using an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It does offer dual stems which is always nice to ensure stability.

The 11+ has 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode like the 10+, but it only lasts for 2 minutes and shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.

I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the new clamp that we’re using in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp however I’d love to see it on future versions. Vsett Homepage.
