VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to their VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett.com. It is larger than the deck, as well as an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the ones that you can find on those Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp on the VSETT 9 and Rion personally, I actually liked the clamp for the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. I think the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had a Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was as robust as the Rion however it came with two additional safety features.
It’s available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she’s a fan of all things teal. It also locks in itself when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It is available in the same color as the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be the most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think about it while looking at the specs sheet. But, when I finally got the chance to test ride the 9+, I was blown away by how fast and smooth the bike is. I was thinking that the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping up.
I usually prefer powerful scooters, but I could definitely see myself having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me but to some it could weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned how to bunny hop 9+ and you’re able to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is the entry-level, affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles actual usage. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery models of the eight initially. The two variants will include that of 15.6 amp hour model with Chinese batteries. The other will include the version with 21 amps using LG batteries. Vsett.com.
With the electric brake front drum brake, rear drum brake and the solid rear tire, it will aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It offers both rear and front swing arm suspension, which could be a significant improvement over the spring suspension that is small that comes with the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It’s designed to climb bigger hills as well as have a greater maximum speed and does not have flats compared to the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black and is said to be an upgrade from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett.com.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that are just 3 inches long. It comes with a strong clamp that looks like the one on RION scooters. RION scooters.
There is an option for sport mode that will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, but I believe it’s a good method to avoid controller harm from overheating.
I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded since the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter does have an IP44 rating for water resistance, none of the distributors warranty the damage caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is larger than the 10X deck, which means it is expected to be very big.
I saw a ton of images and videos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype I realized that they didn’t come with the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would include the EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size which makes it easy to find and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at an image of the VSETT 11+, I automatically think of Captain America. A few people have expressed their disgust for the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
So, you’ve had enough about costumes, chances are you were looking for specs. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks as if it came from a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I would like to have created this with a 72V battery but I bet they will release a 72V version in the future. It comes with dual stems which is always a nice feature to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It has an sport mode similar to the 10+ which is only for two minutes, and then shuts down in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ had the same clamp that we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it in future versions. Vsett.com.
