VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to their VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and handles that can be collapsed. Vsett 9+r. It has a larger deck and also has the new clamp, which is similar to the ones you see in those Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw in the VSETT 9, and Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp for the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just a Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was equally robust as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.
It’s available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she’s a fan of all things teal. It also locks its own when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded is also used as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It is available in the same shade of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ is what I was most surprised by.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think about it while looking at it on a specification sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride the 9+, I was blown away by how fast and responsive the motorbike is. I was thinking that the 10+ would be the first to fly off and leave the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping pace.
I usually prefer high powered scooters but I could definitely see me taking the 9+ for a regular driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop on the 9+, and it’s possible to get a ton of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter made to go up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles actual usage. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery versions of the 8 initially. The two versions will be the 15.6 amp hour model that uses Chinese batteries. The other will comprise the one with 21 amps with LG batteries. Vsett 9+r.
With the electric braking with rear drum brake as well as a solid back tire should help to keep maintenance down. It has both rear and front swing arm suspension which should be a significant improvement over the smaller spring suspension found that comes with the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty similar with it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s specifically designed to climb higher hills, have a higher speeds, and does not have flats compared to the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is supposed to be an upgrade from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 9+r.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires, which are 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that looks like the one on it’s RION scooters.
There is an option for sport mode that is only active for two minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I believe it’s an good way to prevent controller harm due to overheating.
I like that the VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to move. The hook used to keep the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang bags or helmets while you’re in a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has water-resistant ratings but none of the distributors will warranty the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I was able to see a lot of images and videos promoting the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the prototype to its final version I discovered that they didn’t come with an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks are of a standard size, making it simple to purchase and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+, I instantly visualize Captain America. There are some who have expressed their displeasure at the color of the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I could imagine myself getting dressed in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
So, you’ve had enough about costumes, you probably are here for the specifications. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that appears like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is an 60V battery. I’d like to have created this with a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It has two stems which is always nice to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11-inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts 2 minutes and shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT range.
I wish the 11+ came with the new clamp that we’re seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, but I would love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 9+r.
