The clamp I saw in the VSETT 9, and Rion in person, I liked the clamp for the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had an Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was equally sturdy as the Rion but it had two security features.

It’s available in a black and teal color that I’m sure my wife will love since she’s a fan of everything teal. It also locks itself when folded. The hook that holds it in place after folding, doubles up to become a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.

The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it has dual motors instead of just one motor. It is available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ is what I was most surprised by.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking much of it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got a chance to ride it, I was blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ was going to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be capable of keeping pace.

I usually prefer high powered scooters but I could see my self using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me but to some it would weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned how to bunny hop 9+ and was able to get tons of fresh air on almost any flat surface.

The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode like the 10+ which is only for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.

I’d like to see that the 11+ had the new clamp that we’re seeing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we’re getting the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t choose to use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it on future models. Vsett 9 Tires.
