When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9, and Rion personally, I really liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it just had a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was equally robust as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.

It comes in a teal and black color which I’m sure my wife would love because she is a sucker for all things teal. It also locks into itself when folded. The hook that holds it in place when folded can also double as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it comes with dual motors instead of just one motor. It is available in the same colour of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ is what surprised me the most.

It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much of it when reviewing the specs sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride it, I was blown amazed by how swift and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ was about to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping pace.

I typically prefer super-powered scooters but I could definitely see myself using the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight for me, but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned to bunny hop on the 9+ and you’re able to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.

It does have an option for sport mode that will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I believe it’s an good way to prevent controller damage due to overheating.

I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded since the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it hard for portability. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together can also be used to hook into a hook to hang the bag you carry or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.

It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating however, none of the distributors guarantee the damage caused by water. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X so it will be much larger.

I saw a ton of images and videos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final model I discovered that they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would include EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have created this with an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release another 72V version in the near future. It has two stems which is always nice to ensure stability.

The 11+ has 11 inch tires which are 4 inches wide. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ that only lasts 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.

I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp used in the ZERO 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t utilize the innovative clamp but I’d like to see it on future models. Vsett 9+ Nz.
