VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly bigger single motor scooter than VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and collapsible handlebars. Vsett 9. It has a larger deck, as well as an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the clamps you find in Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw in the VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I prefer the clamps on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is strong but it just had an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was equally strong as the Rion however, it was equipped with two safety features.
It comes in a teal and black color that I’m sure my wife will like because she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks in itself when folded. The hook that holds it into place when folded is also used as a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of just one motor. It comes in the exact color as the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think much of it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got an opportunity to test drive the 9+ I was blown amazed by how swift and responsive the motorbike is. I was worried that the 10+ was about to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping pace.
I typically prefer super-powered scooters however I could easily see me using the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight for me, but to some it could weigh 62 pounds.) I was able to bunny hop 9+, and it’s possible to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles of actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries variants of this 8 initially. The two versions will be one of the 15.6 amp-hour version using Chinese batteries. The other version will include the version with 21 amps that uses LG batteries. Vsett 9.
With its electric brakes, rear drum brake and solid front tire it can aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It has the front and rear swing arm suspension that can make a difference to the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical to it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It is built to go up higher slopes, have a higher speeds, and does not have flats like that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black, and is believed to be a step above the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 9.
The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It has 10 inch tires that are just 3 inches long. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to similar to the clamp on it’s RION scooters.
There is a sport mode button that will only be activated for 2 minutes before taking a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I think it is a good way to prevent controller damages by overheating.
I like it that VSETT 10+ locks into itself when folded due to the fact that the ZERO 10X does not making it hard for portability. The hook used to secure the scooter together doubles up as a hook for the bag you carry or your helmet while you’re in a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance however, none of the distributors guarantee water damage. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X so it is expected to be very big.
I saw a ton of photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I realized that they don’t have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would include the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks come in a traditional size which makes it easy to find and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ I instantly imagine Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure at the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I could imagine myself getting dressed in the Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
Okay, that’s enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that appears like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would had come up with an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release an equivalent 72V model in the future. It has dual stems , which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires which are 4 inches wide. It also has a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts two minutes, and then shuts down for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT line.
I wish the 11+ came with the new clamp that we’re using on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the new clamp, but I would love to see it in future models. Vsett 9.
