When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9 and Rion on the street, I prefer the clamps on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. I think the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it just had a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion but it had two security features.

It comes in a teal and black color which I’m sure my wife will like because she loves anything teal. It also locks into itself when folded. The hook used to lock it in place after folding can also double as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.

It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much about it when reviewing it on a specification sheet. However, once I had an opportunity to test drive it, I was blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ was about to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping up.

I usually prefer powerful scooters, but I could see my self using the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get tons of air even on flat ground.

I am awestruck by the fact that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold into itself when folded, due to the fact that the ZERO 10X isn’t making it difficult to transport. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together doubles up as a hook for bags or helmets when running into a store.

The 11+ has 11 inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It comes with a sport mode like the 10+ which only lasts 2 minutes , then it shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.

I’d like to see that the 11+ had the new clamp that we’re experiencing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, however I’d love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 8 Vs Zero 9.
