VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 8 Vs Dualtron Mini. It is larger than the deck, and it also comes with an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the clamps you find in those Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp that was on VSETT 9 as well as Rion on the street, I really prefer the clamps for the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is very strong, however it just had the Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as sturdy as the Rion but it had two extra security features.
It is available in a black and teal color that I’m sure my wife will like because she is a sucker for everything teal. It also locks in its own when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded can also double as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it comes with dual motors instead of one motor. It is available in the same shade of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed with the 10+, but the 9+ is what I was most surprised by.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking much about it when studying it on a specification sheet. However, once I got the chance to test ride it, I was blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ was going to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could definitely see my self taking the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight for me, but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph in a single motor and get about 25 miles actual usage. It has an adjustable rear shock and the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two batteries versions of the 8 at first. The two variants will include that of 15.6 amp hour version using Chinese batteries and the other version will comprise the one with 21 amps with LG batteries. Vsett 8 Vs Dualtron Mini.
With the electric brake with rear drum brake as well as the solid rear tire, it will aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It offers the front and rear swing arm suspension, which could make a difference to the spring suspension that is small in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It was built to go up higher slopes as well as have a greater maximum speed and never have flats compared to the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black and is said to be an upgrade from the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8 Vs Dualtron Mini.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are just 3 inches long. It has a sturdy clamp that looks similar to similar to the clamp on it’s RION scooters.
It does come with a sport mode button that will only be activated for 2 minutes and then take breaks of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I find it to be a good option to protect the controller from damage by overheating.
I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ locks into itself when folded, because the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to move. The hook used to keep the scooter together also doubles up as a hook for bags or helmets while you’re in a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter is equipped with a water resistant rating however, no distributor will guarantee the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is much larger than the 10X deck, which means it is expected to be very big.
I saw a ton of photos and videos marketing the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final model I discovered that they didn’t come with the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d include EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks come in a traditional size, making it easy to find and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at an image of the VSETT 11+ I immediately imagine Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure with the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I could imagine myself getting dressed in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Well you’ve had enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. The VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that looks as if it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I would like to have made this using an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It has dual stems , which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode like the 10+ which is only for two minutes, and then shuts down for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.
I would like to see the 11+ had the same clamp that we are using in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we’re getting the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t utilize the innovative clamp but I would love to see it on future versions. Vsett 8 Vs Dualtron Mini.
