When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp for the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. The Rion clamp is strong but it just had an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however it came with two extra security features.
It’s available in a teal and black color which I’m sure my wife would love because she loves anything teal. It also locks in it when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.

It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much about it when studying the specs sheet. However, once I got an opportunity to test drive the 9+ I was completely blown amazed at how quick and zippy the scooter is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping up.
I normally gravitate towards the powerful scooters, but I could see me using the 9+ for a regular driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it would be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get a ton of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.

There is a sport mode button that can only activate for 2 minutes, and then take breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I believe it’s a good option to protect the controller from harm due to overheating.
I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ locks in itself once folded, due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to move. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together also doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still an 60V battery. I do wish they would have created this with a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the near future. It does offer dual stems , which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ has 11-inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It also has a sport mode like the 10+, but it only lasts 2 minutes and shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I wish the 11+ had the upgraded clamp we are using on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it in future renditions. Vsett 8 Unboxing.
