VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than the VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as collapsible handlebars. Vsett 8 Forum. It is larger than the deck, and it also comes with an upgraded clamp that is similar to the clamps you find on those Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion in person, I actually preferred the clamp that was on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. I think the Rion clamp is strong but it was just an Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two additional safety features.
It is available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will like because she loves everything teal. It also locks in itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it has dual motors instead of just one motor. It comes in the exact shade of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much of it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got the chance to test ride it, I was completely blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ was going to take off leaving the 9+ behind but it turned out to be capable of keeping pace.
I usually prefer powerful scooters, but I could definitely see me taking the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned to bunny hop on the 9+ and was able to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is the entry level and cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter made to go up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles of real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries models of the eight first. Two variants will include that of 15.6 amp-hour version that uses Chinese batteries and the other will include the version with 21 amps using LG batteries. Vsett 8 Forum.
With its electric brakes with rear drum brake as well as a solid back tire will assist in keeping maintenance low. It comes with front and rear swing arm suspension that can make a difference to the spring suspension that is small that comes with the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical to the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It was specifically designed to climb higher hills, have a higher maximum speed and does not have flats like the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black and is said to be a step up from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8 Forum.
The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are just 3 inches long. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to similar to the clamp on it’s RION scooters.
It does come with a sport mode button that will only be activated for 2 minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature but I think it is a good method to avoid controller damages due to overheating.
I love that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it difficult to move. The hook used to lock the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has a water resistant rating but none of the distributors guarantee damages caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is much larger than the 10X so it should be very large.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the prototype to its final version I discovered that they didn’t come with any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d come with EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are a traditional size which makes it easy to buy and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+, I instantly visualize Captain America. There are some who have expressed their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, however I love the look. I could imagine myself getting dressed in the Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
Well you’ve had enough about costumes, you likely are here for the specifications. The VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks as if it came from a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I’d like to have made this using an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release a 72V version in the future. It comes with two stems which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ that only lasts two minutes, and then shuts down in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.
I wish the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are using for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, but I would love to see it in future versions. Vsett 8 Forum.
