When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I really liked the clamp on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had a Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was as robust as the Rion however it came with two security features.
It comes in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will like because she loves all things teal. It also locks itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded can also double to become a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it is equipped with two motors instead of one motor. It’s available in the same shade of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think much of it when looking at it on a specification sheet. But, when I finally got the chance to test ride the 9+, I was completely blown amazed at how quick and responsive the motorbike is. I was thinking that the 10+ was going to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping pace.
I usually prefer powerful scooters, but I could definitely see myself having the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight for me, but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned to bunny hop on the 9+, and it’s possible to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries models of the eight at first. With the electric braking with rear drum brake as well as the solid back tire will aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It has front and rear swing arm suspension which should be an improvement to the smaller spring suspension found included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical with the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It was specifically designed to climb higher hills and has a higher top speed, and will never have flats like VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black and is said to be a step up from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ Tire.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It has a sturdy clamp that looks like that of the RION scooters.
It does have a sport mode button that can only activate for 2 minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I find it to be an good way to prevent controller damages due to overheating.
I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds in itself once folded due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it hard for portability. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together can also be used to hook into a hook to hang the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating, no distributor will warrant damages caused by water. The 10+ deck is much larger than the 10X deck, which means it will be much larger.
I saw a ton of images and videos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the prototype to its final version I discovered that they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d include EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks come in a traditional size so that it is simple to purchase and install a new.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see the VSETT 11+, I automatically imagine Captain America. Some people have voiced their disgust for the colors on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
So, you’ve had enough about costumes, you likely are here for the specifications. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that appears like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have made this using a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the future. It has two stems which is always nice to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It comes with a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are seeing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t use the new clamp, but I would love to see it on future renditions. Vsett 10+ Tire.
