VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 10+ Range Test. It has a larger deck, as well as an new clamp, which is similar to the ones you see with those Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion on the street, I really preferred the clamp on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it only had an Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as strong as the Rion but it had two security features.
It’s available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she’s a fan of everything teal. It also locks into itself when folded. The hook used to lock it in place when folded is also used to become a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it comes with dual motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same color as the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ I was most surprised by.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think much of it when studying the specs sheet. However, once I got a chance to ride it, I was blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping up.
I typically prefer powerful scooters, but I could see me taking the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+ and you’re able to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery variants of this 8 initially. The two variants will include one of the 15.6 amp-hour version using Chinese batteries, and the second will include the version with 21 amps with LG batteries. Vsett 10+ Range Test.
With the electric brake with rear drum brake as well as a solid rear tire, it can aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It comes with both rear and front swing arm suspension that can be a significant improvement over the small spring suspension in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical with VSETT 8 in a lot of ways. It’s similar to VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It is designed to climb bigger hills as well as have a greater maximum speed and does not have flats like that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black and is said to be a step up from that of the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ Range Test.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over the Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires, which are 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that looks like the one on the RION scooters.
There is an option for sport mode that will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I believe it’s a good option to protect the controller from harm from overheating.
I love it that VSETT 10+ locks into itself when folded, since the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to transport. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together doubles up as a hook for the bag you carry or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It has a IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating, none of the distributors will warranty the damage caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is larger than the 10X, so it should be very large.
I saw a ton of photos and videos marketing the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I realized that they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d include EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size, making it easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see the VSETT 11+ I automatically imagine Captain America. There are some who have expressed their disgust for the color of the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Okay, that’s enough about costumes, you likely were looking for specs. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that looks as if it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have made this using an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the future. It comes with two stems which is always a nice feature for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It has a sport mode like the 10+ that only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT line.
I wish the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp but I would love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 10+ Range Test.
