Varla Meaning

The Eagle One Pro is an upgraded version of the company’s most popular two-wheeler, which is the Eagle One. Varla Meaning.  The model has largely stayed the same however, The Eagle One Pro is more robust, quicker and features a larger battery.

Varla Meaning

You know what you learned about Varla’s Eagle One and toss it out the window. It’s the Varla Eagle One Pro comes out and isn’t like its predecessor. It’s not just about the larger 52% battery, although that could have something to do with it–more about that in the near future.

The Eagle One Pro is Varla’s first monster scooter and it appears there will be a lot of top-quality high-performance scooters this season. This is in an allusion to Segway’s GT Series and the brand new Apollo Pro.

Varla’s Eagle One Pro sits on the edge of being a light heavyweight scooter with specs borrowed taken from the beast scooters. It’s heavier than its light heavier models Apollo Phantom, Vsett 10+ and Kaabo Mantis Pro, which weighs 79 lbs. And, it also features 11 inches road tires that are typical of beast scooters like Wolf King GT and the Storm or Wolf King GT.

It’s a great scooter. Varla Eagle One Pro scooter is also amazing with a way over the norm top speed per dollar, exceptional performance per pound and great braking per dollar. That’s not even the best aspect. This off-road scooter costs about $640 less than its closest rivals, Segways GT1 and the Wolf Warrior 11. Varla Meaning.

Because of the big tires-something you always want to hear about-the scooter offers a great ground clearance, with a total of 36 inches. They are also great for traction however they could be improved. The suspension feels stiff and bouncy for city trails, but the stiffness can be useful when traveling off-road. You might not like the narrow deck or uncomfortable kickplate, especially off-road.

Acceleration

Varla Eagle Pro Varla Eagle Pro’s speed is not typical of lighter heavyweight scooters, it is much more powerful. Varla Meaning. It is tested to have an acceleration rate of 2.1 seconds, which is close to the 15 mmh mark. This is the performance typical of heavyweights from the past like those of Wolf Warrior 11 at 1.9 seconds, Dualtron Thunder at 2.0 seconds along with it’s Dualtron Thunder II at 2.2 seconds. The Varla Eagle Pro’s sole competition in the light heavyweight category is Vsett 10+. Vsett 10+ with a 1.9 seconds of acceleration, accelerating from 15 to mph.

Eagle One Pro Eagle One Pro uses the same throttle as the NAMI and Wolf King GT, which means that it also has the same dead zone. You might want to find an angle to anchor your thumb to keep it in place and provide it an anchor point when engaging.

Top Speed

We are awestruck by this Varla Eagle Pro’s top speed, especially for its price. The scooter manages a whopping forty mph top speed, which is well above what is considered to be average when compared to others in the same price range. The more expensive Kaabo Mantis Pro only hits 37 mph top speed, while the Inokim OXO, still at a higher price, only reaches 36 mmh.

However, it also is competing with lower models such as those of Wolf Warrior X Pro which manages an top speed of 43 mph as opposed to the similar priced Vsett 10+ reaches 43,5 mph.

In terms of weight in the weight class, the scooter stands in its weight class and is in a class of its own and only is comparable with the original Dualtron Thunder.

Hill Climb

The Varla Eagle Pro scooter is impressive for a lot of things including hill-climbing, which is certainly one of the most impressive. This electric scooter will go up steep hills without losing any power, and doesn’t seem to let up on heavy riders or poor battery levels. During our 60 m hill test at a 10 percent gradient it was found that the scooter was able to keep an average speed of 17 mph (and over) until approximately 10% of charge. Varla Meaning.

The company credits the superb climb to the sturdy dual motors that are rated at 1000W each with a peak power of 2600W. Varla claims that the motors deliver 36 Nm or torque sufficient to push the scooter up gradients of up to 35deg.

Range

Nothing beats good mileage on the scooter and it’s true that the Varla Eagle One Pro scooter has a reasonable distance of 58 kilometers in its tested range. Interestingly, the only scooter that is within the $400 range of its Eagle One Pro that can beat it on the distance is Wolf Warrior X Pro, with a tested range that was 41 miles. It outran other scooters with higher prices, e.g., the Kaabo Mantis Pro with a 33 miles range, Dualtron Eagle Pro at 32 miles, as well as the Vsett 10+ at 33 miles.

The battery behind the range lies a high capacity battery of 60V 24 Ah with 1440 Wh of energy. It is larger and more energy-dense with 21700 cell batteries. This is a step up from its predecessor, that of the Eagle One, whose battery was rated at 946 wh and only came with 18650 lithium cells. Both batteries have intelligent battery management systems that preserve life. Charge the battery up to capacity takes between 8 and 9 hours however, you can get an additional charger to reduce charge time to about 4-5 hours.

Braking

Let’s face it; we would prefer that all scooters came with hydraulic brakes. However, that doesn’t mean electric scooters equipped with cable brakes are dangerous or unreliable when it comes to stopping. Absolutely not. Actually, the cable brakes plus EABS on the Varla Eagle Pro offer proven braking power that is truly exceptional and simple to set up. Varla Meaning.

The e-scooter stops in just 3 meters from an approximate speed of 15 mph. The performance is comparable with the Vsett 10+. Again, the Varla Eagle Pro’s stopping strength is better than Kaabo Wolf King, the Kaabo Wolf King, Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Pro, NAMI Burn-E, and Nami BURN-E2.

It’s not as fun to squeeze the levers that are powered by cables that are on the Varla Eagle Pro as you would on an electric scooter with hydraulic brakes, however, the Pro’s mechanical disc brakes don’t leave much in the dust when it comes to performance.

The EABS will stop the brakes from locking. They can be adjusted using the P-settings displayed on the display. You can set them from 0 to 2, where 0 is on a weak setting, and 2 is for a high setting.

Ride Quality

Its ride is acceptable however it’s not the best. The caveat they never discuss when promoting all-terrain e-scooters is that priority falls on the off-roading aspects.

The pneumatic road tires with no tube are ideal for comfort, especially when riding offroad. The tubeless nature of these tires is ideal to avoid pinch flats caused by rocks. However, if you’re getting the scooter to ride primarily off urban tracks, you’d be better off switching to self-sealing knobby tires. These will instantly increase your traction, preserve your comfort and cut down on maintenance. In addition, because of the tires and the 17 centimeter ground clearance obstructions in the track will not cause damage to the deck beneath.

The suspension feels hard. This Varla Eagle Pro could have been better off with adjustable shocks or a spring with lower spring rates. The stiff suspension is efficient when dealing with large bumps and prevents the scooter from falling off. If the track is well maintained, the suspension feels a little too bouncy for ease of use.

The Eagle Pro also comes with a built-in steering damper. At high speeds and straight tracks, users will experience excellent stability. At top speed the stability doesn’t match that from dual-stem beasts such as the Wolf King GT but rather is more like the Dualtron Thunder or Nami Burn equipped with a steering damper. The downside is that the damper for steering also implies that the riders will have to push harder on the bar handles when trying to negotiate turns.

The deck is yet another area to be concerned about. It’s too narrow and, due to the lack of deck space it is a constant struggle for riders to place the back foot on the footrest that isn’t designed ergonomically. The only bright side to this model is that Varla Eagle Pro can make up for the sloppy stance by providing an excellently laid-out and comfortable cockpit that is easy to hold. It is designed for comfort and convenience. The controls are also ergonomically designed and compliment the clear, large 9 centimeter screen.

Overall, between the hefty steering feel, the sporty riding stance, and the intense acceleration that the Eagle One Pro is exhilarating to ride. It could also be a bit of a workout when you’re riding hard.
