Correction: after seeing a few comments and looking into it, it seems that the front wheel does have the same minor “shock absorption” as the back, but I still wouldn’t call it “suspension”. I couldn’t even tell that the scooter had anything of the sort from riding it and the Hiboy website only lists rear shock absorption as a feature. This doesn’t fundamentally change my review in any way but I figured I would correct myself here.

Motorcycle Emergency Preparedness

Every motorcycle enthusiast loves the freedom of being out on the road, but with this freedom comes some risk. It is more likely you will encounter some kind of emergency or problem than if you were riding in a car, since you have less protection around you and you are more exposed to the road and elements. However, motorcycle lovers need not fear, for if they prepare for the worst, you can relax your worries.

Motorcycle Helmets – One Thing That Protects You From Fatality During an Accident

The motorcycle helmet is a serious bit of gear that you wear over your head when you ride a motorcycle. In most states, the motorcycle helmet legislation makes it mandatory to wear a helmet, though a few states do not enforce this strictly. You will find more head accident injuries in states where helmets are not imperative.

Don’t Cut Corners With Your Motorcycle Equipment!

One of the most common mistakes new motorcycle owners tend to make is to underestimate the importance of proper equipment. Few things can help you in case of a crash and maximize your chances of survival, and having a good layer of protective clothing over your body is among the top of the list. That’s why so many governments actually make it a requirement that anybody riding a motorcycle must wear certain types of protective wear.

Do You Know Your Exhaust System?

It is no secret that understanding the functionality of an exhaust system is no mean fete especially if you are just joining the automotive industry. The question that would then arise is why bother when there are experts out there who have the knowledge and expertise to help in such matters. This is a valid argument but sometimes as a motorcycle or vehicle owner you may need to know when it is time to change your stock exhaust system to an Aftermarket exhaust system or which exhaust system is ideal for your bike.

Battery Power Bikes and Scooters Are Great for Quick Trips

Undoubtedly, the price of gas has been at its peak lately. Those of us on a budget find it hard to keep up with the always fluctuating prices of fuel. Fuel has been taking a harder hit on our income, yet we need it to get to the places we need to be such as work, school and running daily errands. Fuel prices may be high, but we need it every day. There are some forms of transportation that we can switch to in order to cut back on fuel costs. In fact, most of our trips can be kept local, helping us save even more. For quick trips, it can be easier to use transportation such as an electric bike or an electric scooter.

Do You Know How to Determine Your Tire Size?

There should be no reason for you as a bike owner to get into a dilemma when choosing the right size of tire for your ATV or cruiser bike. The Stock Exhaust System Versus the Customized Exhaust System

Most bike owners have this tendency of replacing their bike’s stock exhaust systems with customized exhaust systems. There are two main factors that influence this decision: – To enhance performance, appearance and sound – Replacing parts or accessories. But as a bike owner it is recommended that you don’t rush into the decision of replacing the stock exhaust system in case you step into warranty restrictions from the factory and also interfere with the back pressure which is the main challenge you will need to combat The Back Pressure Problem…

Careful While Riding Your Motorcycle

Recent research shows that 55% of accidents involving motorcycles happen at junctions because drivers simply do not see the bike approaching. There were 33 deaths and 1178 injured riders in 2011, representing an increase of 3% if compared with the previous year.

A Glimpse Of The Top 5 Motorcycle Movies Of All Time

Who doesn’t like to watch motorcycle movies – they are generally adventurous, splattered with action, sometimes comical, lined with a bit of drama, and an inspiration for many who dream to travel around the world on their nasty little chopper.
